    Hi,

Just been to Tesco’s…. wish I’d not bothered!

The place is rammed with  mostly men trying to buy up whats left of the Roses most of which look like they’ve been kicked about the shop!

Cant say I miss the stress but I do feel weird about not being a part of it , so what now for valentines night ?

Anyone got any plans or ideas how to pass this evening easily …. if fact anyone got any suggestions for any evening ?

I  don’t think getting an early night is an option so I was thinking of a box set or series to watch, I’m a bit nostalgic so perhaps something from the

    eighties …. any suggestions ?

I think everyone is either dead or too drunk to reply.

Seems to be the most sensible options at the moment.

I’m going to have fun with my children in the day and watch Extras in the evening. You can’t feel sad when Ricky Gervais is on the tv screen!

    Hello Matt,

I hope the hangover is not too bad and you made it through the night. So here is what we are doing. Our youngest one loves to play Minecraft very much. We did build a minecraft server about three years ago and have a lot of fun with it. The eldest world is about two years old now and has all the redstone automations we could manage. The next step naturally was for him to ask, daddy can I make minecraft videos for youtube? Ok, why not. We went into preparation mode. We had an old condenser microphone from windows 2000 times, we used to make our christmas videos with, which is still rated very good and a Gen 8 HP microserver which used to be the Plex server but was redundant now. So I bought a few Domains on gandi, an HD able webcam, brought the microserver back into life, upgraded cpu and ram and delved into all the software packages to make proper youtube videos with him. We have done two websites so far, did our first youtube video and uploaded it without making it public apart from for friends and family, so we can test what is best and how to keep things private so not to expose him to the internet too much. He is all happy, I learned a lot I didn’t know even after 40 years in IT and we are looking forward to having our first youtube channel up and running by the end of April. So when was Valentine’s Day again?

    Have a good day

I’ve got Netflix but haven’t stretched to Amazon … I cant say that there’s much I want to see right now ! I’m feeling nostalgic tonight so I’m watching a BBC classic “Just Good Friends”  Its something I remember as a kid and to be honest its O.K …      Its about an separated couple who just cant stay apart but seem to have a love hate relationship .. ha ha … i don’t know  everything these days has some kind of resonance.  I think it written by the guy who did fools and horses … anyone remember it?

Hi Sirtobi  yes I’m ok, I’m not one for getting hammered just have the odd couple ! My son was very much into Minecraft, we had a lot of fun with that, Ive still got access to a couple of worlds we worked on together. Its a great game, so you’ve made a few YouTube videos?  what with all with the IT upgrading, video production and so on it sounds like you’ve both been busy! that’s fantastic!
