hi All, wondering if anyone can offer advise or even opinion!

My ex is looking for a place to live since our separation and he will have our daughter to stay friday – sunday every other weekend, and sometimes all week if I am away for work. The problem is the place he has chosen is a warehouse unit in an industrial estate. the room/ flat itself is okThere are others living there (no children) but it is not a residential place and it is the environment she will be living in that concerns. there is  a cement mixing factory at the other end of the yard they will have to walk past to get to their unit.

Does anyone feel this is unsuitable, and if so what legal standing do I have if i do not feel it is suitable for her to stay there?

Am i being over difficult about this? emotions are high at the moment… so i am not sure anymore!

Hi Anonymous, it’s a self contained warehouse unit. There are a few other self contained units in the warehouse too. But all the other warehouses in the yard are industrial / commercial

would you not be concerned about the air quality / fine cement dust causing health problems? this is my main concern

That’s the thing, there has been no planning permission applied for change of use. It is still classed as industrial, so no This has not been explored officially.

he earns plenty money and can afford better
