Need to know if I can still travel to see my daughter who is over 100 miles away during lockdown, I usually stay over in a hotel so I get 2 days with her. My next visit is her birthday and all I can find is that kids can move between households but nothing about the actual parent travelling to see them.

yes you can but its best if you carry some form of proof to save time wasting if you do get stopped by the police, maybe a court paper or solicitors agreement.

Yes you can travel as normal . Would ex partner not let you have extra days with your daughter due to current situation. You could then just pick her up and travel home instead if she give u a few days extra

I’d agree with warwickshire on this.

Under current circumstances you will want to make the most of that long a journey and if you got to spend more time I am sure your child and you would both appreciate it.  Under corrent situation with the future being so uncertain (not to put a downer on things) but you should try to spend as much time as possible with your child and I’m sure their mother would agree too.    With most schooling done remotely now if you have access to their home learning software you could also help out with this…. so even during term time it’s not relevant where they child is if they can do schooling remoetly and have one parent help them.
