My husband walked out four weeks ago. We have a toddler and a planned baby due in four weeks time.
My parents are now my support bubble. We are in a tier 2 area. What does this mean for my husband? He currently has our toddler three times a week and will want to be able to bond with new baby.
Separated parents can continue as they normally do with regards to contact arrangements, even if you reached tier 3 children can still move between parents. As your access around the baby will change (I’m assuming contact with the new born will be with you there), I think this should be fine, but I would check with your local CAB.
Best of luck with the birth of your beautiful baby
