Hi 1504Silvia I have looked at a few places to hold a group but the charges here are a bit silly or too far for people to travel. I will keep looking and if you have any suggestions i would gladly follow them up. I`m sure there must be somewhere out there single parents can meet once a week for a chat. Will keep you posted on what i find.

hi, honestly we are all single parents with kids of different ages, I think a place where we all can stay doesn’t have to be charged. At least could be even a park with a nice coffee shop so the kids can play and we adults can have a chat. Don’t you think? Maybe I think so because my son is only 3 months and is easier to make him happy wherever we go 😉

A park sounds good and there are loads of parks where kids of all ages can play i.e Greenwich park, Crystal Palace, Brockley, Abbey wood etc.

Keeping it free means more welcoming as it would be nice to encourage as many single parents to come out and interact.

    Hi there

i am new to this, I have an 11 year old daughter and we would love to reach out to other single parent families in the Bromley area, ready through the last posts I wondered if a south east group was started at all? We love where we live but sometimes feel quite isolated as there don’t seem to be a lot of single parent families around us. My daughter doesn’t see her dad (complicated!) and all of her friends live with both their parents – if anyone is in a similar position and would like to chat then pls feel free to do so

    thanks xxxx

How about a meet up this Saturday in Greenwich Park say 10.30am? Round the tables near the first sandpit as you enter children’s playground. If anyone is interested let me know!

    Hi SharonSo

How old is your little one and how are you coping on your own.

That would be good to meet up sometime as you are not far from me.

    Hey Kelly,

We’re doing well, thank you. It does get easier with time indeed. How are you and little one?

My girl is 1 year old. I met another lovely friend on here a year ago and she also has a one year old. We do meet as much as we can.

How old is your little one? We could plan a day in the sun?
