I don’t know how many single parents are aware of the High Court case where the DWP was taken to court for disabilty discrimination in that Universal Credit claimaints got a 20 pound weekly uplift during the pandemic but those of us on ESA and legacy benefits were forgotton about.

This is quite frankly inhuman treatment and we are due that to be back paid.

A few brave individuals on ESA have taken the DWP to court on this.

They were represented by the company Osbournes Law who are as far as I can see absolutely brilliant in representing people with disabilities.

The point is, the judicial system hasn’t thought it important enough to schedule the final hearing to get the judgement through.

I repeat, it is inhuman, given the ways in which single parents are being heroic on this one, muddling through and worrying about our gas bills etc when the DWP potentially owe us a grand an a half.

Can we have the judgement please?

    Can we have the money?

That is an awful lot of meals on tables for families and kids.

Anyone who is following this outrage could you contact your M.P. Do Twitter etc.

Without public pressure the governement will stall again and it could be another year of waiting.
