    Hello,

Trying to find out about my ex partner who should be shielding (has recieved a letter from the dr) still having contact during this trying time.

I’m not trying to stop contact and have facilitated it during this whole pandemic but have been keeping it outside so my daughter and ex partner are safer during contact.

My ex partner now wants to take child to hes home even tho he should be sheilding.

I have had my daughter tested for covid-19 due to having a cough which came back negative but the cough is still present and quite bad.

My child has never been to ex house before now and explicitly expresses she does not want to go there but ex thinks this is just me being awkward.

Am I wrong in wanting to keep contact outside to minimise risk to both my child and high risk ex?

    Thanks for any advice.

Surely it is up to your ex partner what he does. It maybe hes advised to shield but the choice lays with him what he does during contact with his daughter.

Children can see their absent parent as normal and with weather understandably being cold he will want to go to his home with his daughter in the warm.
