Me and my fiancé broke up 3 years ago now and im still having constant battles with her over our 2 children.

We have 2 boys aged 5 and 4 and we have an agreement that I have the boys 3 nights a week every week. I pay the required child maintenance every month.

The issue is that she is constantly changing the nights that I have the boys and giving me no say in this at all! Most weeks I have the children more then 3 nights a week and if I try tell the CSA this she just denies this. I only contact her regarding the boys but soon as I try challenge her she just blocks me and I am unable to get hold of her.

I want a set arrangement for access to the boys and i’m willing to have the children as much as possible as long as its a consistent arrangement for everyone, especially the children.

The Children never want to go home to her and I do have some concerns about how they are looked after as the often complain that she just stays in bed all day.

Does anyone know what my next best steps are??

    Hi W

Im a lone parent with 3 kids.

The mother wanted a separation and when the kids were with her she did a similar thing in bed most of the day and my kids would complain to me which in turn brings a lot of worry.

I have just made a post where I mention Social Services.

I appreciate that no one really wants to get them involved but believe you me they are fantastic the help and advice they give is invaluable.

If you have concerns all you have to do is call them. They will make contact with their mother and do an assessment.

This will give you an opportunity to air your frustration.

Do not be afraid of them.
