Sorry another advice for contact please.

Im really worried about my children getting the virus.

My ex is waiting for the government to go on a full lockdown and make the decision for the children not to visit .  Im not sure its going to happen. And we as parents need to decide but we cant.

We are both key workers ex is still working in NHS and im in education but on a rota only working lunchtimes 1/3 weeks so im off now till the last week of april.

We are both worried about contact as ex is still working and one of my kids has mild asthma.

I want to stop contact but worried about if its the right thing to do or the right way to go about it.

If i stop contact i dont know how long for and when i go back to work its the child with asthma that im taking with me and i feel like im not keeping the child safe. But thats in 3 weeks time.

    Hi,

it’s so tricky at the moment isn’t it! Depending on your children/s ages you might be able to schedule a Skype/FaceTime session? I’ve done this with my child as agree it’s a bit risky at the moment to be travelling about, went really well as they still got to see dad & had done some colouring to show him etc.

That’s good you’re off until the end of April too 🙂 There was some information on the British Heart & Lung Foundation that according to a study having asthma does not necessarily make you more susceptible to getting the Corona virus or having worse symptoms due to this x
