Hi I’m wondering if anyone has been in a similar situation and has any advice? I have a mortgage with my ex who left last year. We have two children. He has been good and paid half the mortgage so far but I am aware that this won’t go on forever. Problem is if we sell neither of us will have enough equity to be able to buy anywhere else. I desperately don’t want to move neither do the children (was a family members house previously.) I can afford the mortgage payment on my own (just about.) Has anyone come to an agreement where they stay in the house and take more equity once it’s finally sold? I’ve been advised I can’t have a mesher order as we weren’t married. TIA
