Hi everyone, I’m recently separated (but still need to go to solicitor to get papers drawn up).

can I apply for universal credits now?

We live separately under the same roof, for the benefit of my disabled teenager (the house is fully adapted to her needs) but don’t share bedroom and each do our own laundry, food, dishes, groceries etc

Anyone else in similar position and can it work?
    Many thanks in advance.

    Jo

I’m also in a similar position.
I’ve applied for UC and been refused help – but have spoken to a company called Community Law Services who told me to call them back if UC do not help.
Which I keep meaning to do and simply forget.
