After going to court my ex was granted 2days a week with overnights Wednesday and Sunday for my daughter who is 2 in January.
This boxing day he had his older daughter from a previous in his care. Shes 13. At 11.20pm she called me in tears in a dreadful state because he was drunk out of his mind and had fallen over. She wanted to leave and asked me to call her mum for her which I did and was able to get through to her grandparents who came to collect her at 1am.
During this time he tried to lock her in her room to stop her leaving, became very aggressive and abusive due to the alcohol and eventually threw out his daughter in just her pjs and told her never to come back.
Now hes calmed down and sobered up he is swearing blind he was not drunk at all that night even though I saw him drink myself as we had a video call earlier that evening. His daughter and her grandparents are all saying the same. He is trying to blame it on an existing back condition he has saying he fell because his legs gave way and momentarily he couldn’t get up so he wants to make a doctors appointment about it…..
I’m meant to let him have my daughter who isn’t old enough to call me if something like this happens. Im terrified! His other daughter was literally removed from his care because he wasn’t in a fit state. I dont know what to do. I dont want to get in trouble for breaking the court order but how can I trust shes safe and will be alright when I know this happened?! Please any advice would be so appreciated
