Hello,
My daughter is estranged from her absent father, who has never been interested in providing for her (in fact, he’s repeatedly stolen money from her!) but likes to have bragging rights.
When she is 16, can she restrict who has access to her school reports?
There’s no benefit to her in him seeing them – he has no input on her education as he refused phone calls with her (because he wanted to see her and she wouldn’t agree to that, but did offer a phone call!). She’s at an independent school and he doesn’t fund it at all (I didn’t receive anything from him during divorce even, so there really has been no contribution).
My daughter feels it’s an invasion of her privacy, and following issues she had it would really help her to feel she has some control.
Any advice appreciated!! 🙂
