my 11 month old son is so poorly at the moment, cough, cold, sticky eyes. He is on antibiotics and having calpol and ibuprofen to keep his temp down throughout day and night. He has clung to me today which is so unlike him, he just wants cuddles off his mom and has slept on and off all day, with next to no playing in between.

he is due to have contact with his father tomorrow, his father usually takes him out and about the local area as he lives 200 miles away from our little boy and I. Is it out of order if I say contact can’t happen because our child is so poorly? He’s asked if he can see him in the house which I’m not comfortable with at all

    unsure what to do

I don’t think it’s out of order to give this contact a miss. You little one sounds quite poorly. I know you said you would feel uncomfortable if he saw your little one in your house but I do think if there is no danger to you maybe it is something you could grin and bear this 1 time?

Thank you for your reply. Contact was cancelled in the end. He’s not a nice person which is why I didn’t want him in my home but luckily he agreed to swap to this week!
