Evening everyone, I just wanted to come on here and ask for some advice as I just don’t know what to do and quite frankly, I’m scared.

I want to leave my partner. I have wanted to for months but I am so apprehensive about actually leaving and scared of what the future holds.

I have 2 children, a 6 year old daughter from a previous relationship and a 1 year old son, and I am currently 22 weeks pregnant with a little girl.

Has anyone else left whilst pregnant? I was a single parent with my daughter for 3 years but it didn’t seem so daunting that time as I owned my own house. This time, me and my partner own a house together and I cant afford another house until I can somehow get my equity out of my current house.

I don’t know what to do. I was thinking of arranging a meeting with Citizens Advice, are they the right people to contact?

Im just at a loss and any advice would be appreciated.

    Many thanks x

Hi I would get in touch with citizens advice and maybe speak to a lawyer, I know it Scotland normally your first appointment is free but you might be able To get the advice you need in that time

So i am currently 22 weeks pregnant and have a 3 year old and 2 year old and have just made my decision to leave.  Had a call with my local citizens advice who were amazing great advice and service.  You can get free 30 minutes advice from a solicitor but i have decided to pay and get advice from a lawyer.

I was told it was better this way as the advice you get is second to none and will be given the best advice available for your circumstances.  I have a complexed situation so need alot of questions answered.

Do it now while your children are young and wont remember.

Wishing you all the best x
