SoccerDadParticipantThere’s a lot, if not all of us, that are struggling to a lesser or greater degree on here, and I just wanted to share a thought that hopefully might lift you if you need it. We’re all here for each other, so remember that you are not alone. Everyone, feel free to add more thoughts for the day to this if you think of or come across any – hopefully this will help those who need support and a positive thought.
Here’s one I came across earlier;
“If you feel like you’re losing everything, remember that trees lose their leaves every year, but stand tall because they know better days are to come”
And although it may not feel like it right now, it will be the same for you – better days are to come, so keep going, hang in there and don’t be afraid to let it go on here – people will listen.

CaitlinJane1992ParticipantThis is the first post I’ve read on here. Thank you. I really needed to hear that today.
SoccerDadParticipantNo problem, hope you feel better soon.
Had my last time to talk session today, and heard a really powerful one about letting go of the past.
”Being angry or resentful at someone else is like drinking a cup of poison and expecting someone else to die” – Nelson Mandela
It’s totally natural to harbour those feelings, especially when it’s fresh, but once we reach the point where we are able to let go a bit more of the past (and that time will come), things will feel better – time is the best healer of all

LS4202ParticipantVery much needed. Thank you.
SherinamParticipantToday I heard a song which brought back memories and made me cry. I thought get a grip and I did I went out in the horrible rain and did some gardening. Also for anyone who has got a garden , the bright coloured metal pots which clip onto fence are in at mo. I bought a range from pound shop today and have potted my busy Lizzie’s!!!!
GAM19187ParticipantHello SD,
Funnily I came across that sentence and it’s now my profile on WhatsApp. I loved it.
So difficult sometimes to keep afloat but we can do it, if not for us, for our children.

BluebirdSueParticipantYesterday is history
Today is a gift
Tomorrow is a surprise
🙂 think that was from a film
Gingey28ParticipantGood post hope you are all well
SoccerDadParticipantDon’t forget, you’re human.
It’s ok to have a melt down, just don’t unpack and live there.
Cry it out, and then refocus on your journey to where you want to be
SoccerDadParticipantFor those who are struggling and not yet seeing the light at the end of the tunnel……
Once the Bamboo seed is planted, the Farmer waters it every day. He does this for four years before the Tree even breaks ground.
when it finally does though however, it grows 60 feet in the next 90 days.
Good things do take time to develop again, but when they do……. 😊
SuperowlsParticipantWhile I did my placement on my degree I walked passed a poster every day – one of the inspirational type ones, which I seem to be recalling on a daily basis at the moment:
“It’s not the position you stand, it’s the direction in which you look”
ThreeDogtaniansParticipantI feel like I’ve come out from a fuzz for the first day today after almost four months. Had a good day at work and was actually productive and boosted my confidence that I’m good at my job!
AnieParticipantReally not in a good place at the moment. I feel so lonely, worthless and bereft. The inspirational quotes help a little. I am reminded of this
Everything heals, your heart heals, your mind heals and your happiness is always going to come back. Bad times don’t last.
and
We must be willing to let go of the life we had planned so as to have the life that is waiting for us. (Joseph Campbell)
