So at the moment my son is quite poorly was in hospital on Friday and he’s had a high temperature since, I feel so worn down the constent whining is doing my head in and he won’t settle to sleep unless he’s laid on me… I normally wouldn’t mind the cuddles and things but 3 days like this and all I want is an hour to myself to have a brew in peace and have a shower but I also feel guilty about it. Anyone else been in this position?
Yes, it is tough when they are ill. Sounds like you are doing well.
Time to pull in any support you can. Online shopping? Fruit box delivery from the milk man? Ask someone to help with cleaning your kitchen if you can? Hang in there it is really tough. But you are doing well and it really is all about getting little breaks for yourself.
