I have two sons. Their father moved 2 hours away after the divorce. He works from home so he could have stayed local.
He only has the boys every other weekend and refuse to have them any of the school holidays. He often drops his weekends at short notice.
Now he is demanding that I meet him halfway every other weekend. I work full time and look after the children without any help from him during the weeks.
Has anyone got any advise on this.
if you want to keep things amicable, you could meet halfway. but maybe impossible with your work situation. If you don’t do it, he may think of going to court. but then its very unlikely they will order a parent to travel halfway.
I have been ordered by the court to meet half way and despite my work commitments, livestock and travel anxiety (confirmed by my GP and various other medical professionals) both CAFCASS and the family court are insisting.
