Does anybody know what the situation is if we are all put on lockdown? I do not get full pay if I don’t work, I’d be on the brilliant £90 odd a week or whatever the main man decides is a good buffer (£1000 a month has been mentioned). Would I still need to pay her £200?
She’s a nurse living at home with her parents. She’d still be working and has no bills to pay. Surely there’s some way I can avoid giving her such a sum that will no doubt leave us skint.
Katymumofone – In an ideal world, I’d be able to talk to her and her be reasonable. Unfortunately, she is not of that mentality. I have told her the situation and said I may have to pay her LESS, not not pay her. Her response was that she would go to CSA to enforce I pay her the full amount.
I’ve had a phone call today saying my daughters Dad isn’t paying any maintenance to me due to not working as in lockdown. Anyone know how this works and if the government helps with this?
My workplace was shut down today, the government pay 80% of wages in that situation. Unless he’s self-employed, I’d say he should still be paying but only 80% of what he usually pays…
