    Hi Scout2470

I’m sorry you are in this situation and its important to get the right support as soon as possible.  Our helpline will be able to support you to explore your options.  Here are their contact details:

    • Gingerbread Single Parent Helpline – Freephone 0808 802 0925

    Opening hours:  Mon 10 – 6, Tues 10- 4, Wed 10 – 1 & 5 – 7, Thurs 10 – 4, Fri 10 – 4  They can be busy so callers can expect to wait up to 20 minutes before the call is answered.

You can also seek advice from Shelter.  Here are their details:

    • Shelter expert housing advice https://england.shelter.org.uk/get_help

I also suggest you contact Macmillan for advice, here are their details:

    https://www.macmillan.org.uk/cancer-information-and-support/get-help/emotional-help/macmillan-support-line

I would also suggest that you contact your local emergency housing service.  They may be able to give you direct advice.

I hope some of this helps.

    Kind regards, Justine
