Hey! First post here! I have two sons, who are 9 and 6. And hopefully we’ll be getting a break at Haven during the summer 🤞🏻
I know this question is daft, but I don’t really have anyone else to ask. How much would you pack for a ten night trip? We will probably go to the disco 4/5 nights. And maybe have 3 days where we just chill in the caravan. My eldest son has additional needs so won’t tolerate sitting in the laundrette – so if something gets dirty during activities it’ll stay that way until I get home!
Thanks in advance for any responses.

Honestly ,not a daft question.when my kids were those ages I packed as much as I could carry .Like most ppl I really prefer the  pared down, minimal, matching luggage look but the agonies of not having what we needed and not having another adult to run to the nearest shop to buy replacement soon taught me😉.So it depends on if you’re going to have another adult anywhere in the vicinity that can help out or if you prefer to waste time taking the kids shopping to buy replacements….I find that irritating on holiday…

    Hi Nonabean

I’m Michelle one of the Moderators here.  It’s great to see you posting.  There’s an info section within the Gingerbread site dedicated to holidays.  Parents have given some tips within those pages and there’s a video blog from a parent talking about her experiences of taking a holiday with her sons.  Here’s the link:

    Happy holidays
