    • My 16 year old has Asperger’s andis continually being bullied on WhatsApp by a particular girl from the school he previously attended in a different county.  This has been going on for months in the chats he participates in with friends and she is particularly nasty. She spreads awful lies and makes horrible comments. An example is recently my son’s little dog, who he loved, was savaged to death by 2 big dogs whilst out walking on a lead and he was and is distraught about it. This girl has said in a group the dog is better off as my son used the dog to have sex with. This is affecting his mental health to a concerning level. He blocks her but now he has discovered she has been impersonating a girl in his class who he likes and has made a huge joke of sending him fake messages pretending to be her.  He is now so embarrassed and depressed he is not going to school. Please advise on any action I can take to stop this girl’s behaviour as it’s causing a great deal of upset. As my son has mild Asperger’s he has always found social communication difficult and dealing with this type of problem is especially stressful. I have screenshots of the abusive messages and have reported it all to WhatsApp but they haven’t taken action that I’m aware of. Many thanks

Can you maybe speak to the School about bringing it to the attention of the girls parents?

Most parents would be mortified to find out that their child is bullying another child and would at very least insist that they stop.

Thanks for your reply. I have informed the girls school but they will not deal with it.
