A closed group would be fine with me especially as the visibility of posts is changing.

Hi everyone, as previously stated, in order to set up this group, I understand that police checks and references have to be obtained.

This can be done but I am concerned about the change of the privacy of the main forum from closed to public. It’s not my intention to have the group as public.

I think that some more thought needs to be given but if anyone else wants to set the  group up, please feel free to do so

How about setting up a WhatsApp group?  It can be private that way if you don’t mind having to give your mobile number ?

Singleparent4 I am in pretty much the same situation (minus guns and porn!!) my ex pays half the mortgage but I want to leave but can’t until the finances are agreed and he’s now stopped speaking with his solicitor so that might be a while!! My ex too was emotionally Abussive and even though he left in the beginning of 2016 he has now decided that he is moving out of his rented accommodation and is going to store all his furniture and household goods at this house. I live in a terraced house and not sure where I could accommodate an extra sofa, three beds, dinning table and so on but now I have said he can put them in our side lock up this is not good enough and he has decided he won’t pay his half of the mortgage even though he earns 5 times my salary and the only reason I can’t leave is because he is stalling. Feel like I’m living in limbo.

So I completely understand, but we’ll get through it and we will come out the other side stronger and more resilient and they have to suffer with the fact they are stuck with themselves forever xx

    Just an idea

I saw a interesting article the other day.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-37985164

Christmas lunch for a pound. I love the idea of personally think it could be adapted, with making turkey legs with stuffing.
