My relationship brokedown after 6 yrs. I have 2 kids, daughter is 14, son 3. Daughter will stay with me all the time, with son we agreed shared care.

My problem is I need to move out from my ex house but I cannot afford to pay for deposit and one month rent at the moment, even if I work as I still pay nursery fees. I asked council for help but it’s look like they ignore me. They gave me the lowest housing bidding band what means I’m on the end of waiting list. My ex asked me to leave as soon as possible but I have nowhere to go with my daughter and I don’t know what to do… I’m drained mentally… Maybe someone has some ideas what I can do, where to go, where to ask…

    Thank you 🙂

Try your local women’s refuge? They usually have some spaces but you cannot book in advance you literally call on the day

    Just to be aware.

When first applying they tend to put you on the lowest band.

You can the hand in and document further information such as G.P. letter, letter of eviction, letter to show you have a dependent child.

Usually you stand a good chance of then being moved up to the highest band.

    Needs some work.
