My job is in a company who are staying open at the moment with a review as to if they can pay wages. I have an 11 year old and no child Care at all as my Mum is too vunerable. I can’t work from home as I’m a receptionist. I may be forced to to have to stay at home and/or wait to see how my job lies because of no childcare. I don’t know where any money will come from as it says I have to take unpaid leave. £95 a week is only half of what I can survive on if I’d get it plus my Child Tax Credit and a few £s of workingtax credit. What is there for parents caught in this scenario. Thanks
If some people are working from home, you may find an empty office and settle him with a laptop and some school work or computer games. It’s not ideal but if you can isolate him at work, these are exceptional times and your boss may say yes.
