Hello, me and my 5 year old moved to Anerley during the lockdown. My friends were available then and over January but have now returned to work. I broke my foot and am struggling to keep on top of the housework. In particular bringing the bins out. I’m so ashamed. I have no family around and no friends are available to help. It’s really got me quite sad. I’m usually such a Ray of sunshine but this along with a abusive ex behaving very strange… Well it’s cracked my spirits a bit. My ex and his new partner has my son for the start of the week but to be honest there the worst days cause I miss my son so much. I don’t really know what to do.

Im so sorry you feel bad but it’s completely understandable in your situation. I know what it’s like to feel completely alone and the house feels so empty when my son isn’t here, that can make it worse. I wish I had better advice but all I can offer is try to see it as the temporary situation it is. You have nothing to be ashamed about and things will change. Your sunshine will return it’s just a tough journey sometimes.

    Hey.

I’m sorry you’re feeling so lonely. It’s a truly horrible feeling and then we start thinking everyone else is having a good time and it’s only us….It must be really difficult with your foot and all…people really don’t understand,so if we want help I’ve learnt that we have to ask for it.Don’t be ashamed.Simply bc it’s th e other way around! People around you should be ashamed. They’re not BLIND surely?! I’ve gone thru many difficult situations being ashamed an d suffering and people just don’t turn a hair until you really spell it out sometimes. You have nothing to be ashamed of! (Well I don’t know you so I’m just assuming you’ve fallen on hard times and you’re trying your best).Chin up.This will end and time will move on & there’s a good chance it will be better.Take one day.at.a.time.Beginning are always  hard, but keep in mind you’re not alone on here😉
