Hi. My partner has just left this weekend and taken everything from the house. All the stuff was hers from a previous house but all I’ve got left is my daughter’ bed.

Im currently out of work due to an injury which could be very long term.

I have nothing to purchase new items with and have no washing machine or fridge etc. I also have no household furniture wardrobes beds or a sofa etc.

I’m at my wits end with worry. My daughter is 6.

Any ideas as to where I can turn for help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

Oh donny,I really feel for you. There was me thinking my situation was bad but gosh.

Make an appointment with citizens advice. Do you claim benefits? There used to be things called crisis loans but I think they have been replaced.

I was directed to a site called entitled to. That was really helpful.

Look on the free cycle pages and the things for free Facebook pages too. People are really kind when you need it most.

    Sending you strength

Hi I was left in the same position, there is help out there. Get in touch with your local food bank as they often have a list if charities that can help. My local one was in a church and helped me with a local charity for furniture. Also there is a grant you can get the housing benefit office gave me the details and I was able to get an enormous help, argos vouchers for everything and a new washing machine.
