Sadly I didn’t. We are now 6 weeks in and I am struggling. We have a Relate Counselling session booked. We share parenting responsibilities but I am doing the whole weekend. Rest of the time I am wallowing in a spare room at a friends. Just finding it so difficult.

The transition is a shock to put it mildly. 💐

I spent my time planning my weekends, I took up running because I could think while expending energy, and it helped my mood. It helped me sleep.

Take each day at a time, and make sure the time you spend with your kids is the best it can be x

So sorry to hear this. I hope things get soon. I agree try and find something to do. I bought a dog so I have to leave the house and go for walks alone. Enjoy your time with your children and look afrer yourself.

Cheers all. I’m just having massively bad days followed by hopeful ones. Not sure the hoping is helpful ☹️

Sorry to hear that mate. I am in a similar situation, and my wife does not even want to go counselling. So at least you have a chance to work it out.

Just take it one day at a time, and keep talking to your mates and family.
