    Hi all..

I am a 23 year old lone parent to a 2 year old. i currently reside in South Africa and i have the big decision of moving over to UK. (obviously once in the safe zone from  covid-19) HOWEVER, i have family support in the UK but i will be living on my own and i am concerned about child care. I’m hoping there is someone who could give me advice or guide me in the right direction regarding how government benefit works. Im not sure how i will balance work with my child as child care is extremely expensive. Is there anyone in a similar position and how are you tackling the hurdle?

    Thanks in advance

Hi, although I cant help with your benefit question I just wanted to say “Hello”. I was born in South Africa and lived there until I was 18 and moved to the UK.

Stay safe…. I know things with lockdown are worse over there compared to here!
