I have just climbed aboard here. I have been separated since the end of 2014 and have my awesome, soon to be 11 year old daughter living with me ever since. It has been an adventure.
I work full time as a self employed gardener as well as doing all of life’s chores. You know: school run, play days, camping holidays, pet keeping audax cycling and washing my hair. We have a warm and kind environment here and life is peaceful.
I go to court for the final divorce hearing next week and hopefully life can move on with a bit more normality and certainty.
Wish me luck and I look forward to joining in on all the fun and hardship here. Best wishes, B
Thank you. It has been a long, wearing process. The selfishness and dishonesty going on has been no surprise but I believe these things come out in the wash eventually. I am in it for my daughter’s future. Her mother is in it for…well herself. Still my daughter is with the person she wants to be with (and I’m glad that’s me)
It will be strange: The judge has ordered a virtual court appearance and despite being quite introverted, I preferred the face to face aspect of the court room.
Deciding whether to have balloons or fireworks as my virtual background.
