    Hi

My ex has informed me today that his stepson has moved in with him and his wife so he will be informing CMS and I should expect a reduction in payments.

Does the stepson need to have lived there for a certain amount of time to show that this is a long term arrangement before CMS will re-calculate his payments?

The sceptic in me thinks that this is a temporary  thing to reduce his payments.  Ex is not very child friendly..he sees our 2 for a couple of hours a fortnite, so I really don’t think it will last long.

    Thanks

    hi,

as far as I know they will take into account another child living with him and not depending on how long he has been there. they will not reduce his maintenance by much anyway. probably a few pounds.
