So just a quick back story, I became a 29 year old single father (back in 2018 my ex placed our son into social services care) I worked with them to eventually being him home.

My life currently feels like it’s on repeat scraping by each month , my social circle has just about vanished. I wake up take my son to school then I usually just sleep until it’s time to pick him up.

I’m on several different dating apps but I’m having no luck (never had a single date in the time I’ve been on them). I’m applying for part time jobs left right and center and just receive the same old “application unsuccessful”

Its starting to take its toll on me, I feel like I’m never going to meet anyone wether that be just friends or companionship.

Sorry just felt I needed a bit of a rant

Yes it can be lonely but have you thought of volunteering or meet up groups?

Try nextdoor.co.uk it will link you with local people activities and stuff that will get you out and about .you will love this app and everyone helps each other .

I love it because I found an allotment that needs a bit of tlc and I’ve met people from there .good luck
