Hi, my daughter attends nursery 2 days a week, I’d like to find a flexible job to keep me busy and earn a little extra cash, but I am struggling to find anything which is so flexible, (2 short days, extending over time as my daughter does more days over time)

prior to becoming a single parent I’ve always worked full time.

I assume this is a regular issue, has anyone else found suitable industries?

    hi,

you can look at the self-employed sector. there’s work for part-time/freelance delivery drivers – deliveroo, Yodel, uber. Driving instructors, but that will take over a year to get started properly.

    Hiya

What sort of work do you usually do full time? Is it something that can be home based?

I have found an admin role working from home that I work around a baby and my eldest being at school.

“What sort of work do you usually do full time?”

I use to do IT Support in a call Center, but most of this is fixed contract, usually rotating shifts, not suitable now.

id have no issues with changing industry.

I Never got a driving licence due to proximity to lots of different public transport, which seems to limit me more now.

There are a few good websites with home based/flexible working, try doing an online search. Most companies are being a bit more open minded with work since the pandemic, I hope you find what you are looking for 🙂
