After Xmas , I broke up with the father of my kids. We weren’t married. My kids are 6 and 3 years old. We were living in Treorci, Rhondda Valleys. I wasn’t happy there. I felt quite isolated and alone. He never help me with the house duties, etc.  I felt everything what I wanted to do in my life was in Cardiff: jobs, college, friendship, etc.  My kids are still living with his father in Treorci. I am living now in a house of a friend of mine. They rent me a room.  But I am looking for my own place. My idea is to take the kids with me as soon as possible in Cardiff.  anyone knows What can I do if his father is not agree with that?
Honestly, I really want to have a custody and child time 50-50 with his father, but is quite difficult if we are not living in the same area.  I am originally from Spain, and I always wanted to come back to Spain. I think now with the coronavirus situation is not a good idea.  But Just for having some idea…how difficult woul be to take the kids with me in the future if his father doesn;t want to?
Honestly, I felt quite lost and alone in my separation.  I don’t have any family here and just a few friends. I don;t feel I have any support either for my ex family in law.  Anyone know how long can be this process?  Many thanks  Isabel R
