My husband and I have been separated for nearly one year.

he is keen to divorce ASAP, but I’m not until we have a legal binding maintenance agreement in place.

how do I set that up without spending money on a solicitor? Is there any help available? I am unemployed with two children under 10.

    Thanks for any advice.

For child maintenance there is a online calculator.  For Spousal Maintenance, if applicable, there is no formula and can only be determined by the courts.

Nothing to stop you making your own arrangements, but they can’t be enforced.

If you are short on money is legal aid available? The online calculator says 20% of his net salary as child maintenance.
