my ex and kids live in South Wales and I had to move to Hertfordshire for work reasons a few months ago. Every 2nd weekend I was traveling to wales to collect my kids to bring them to Hertford to spend the weekend with me. The journey is about 3 hours each way. Last week my ex moved to mid wales as she wanted to live with the new guy she has met. The journey has now become 4 & a half hours. She says this is too long for the kids (they are 9 & 11) and now says they cannot travel as the journey is to long. She says if I want to see them I have to stay where she lives. This would mean staying in a hotel with the kids for 2 nights as well as having to eat out all the time. I can’t afford to do this and unless I’m abel to continue collecting them and bringing back to my place in won’t be able to see them. Has anyone else had experience of this? Would a family court support her stance?
