Oh Kendo, what a tough couple of years you’ve had. However you’ve clearly aced being a single Dad, and I’m sure your children are so grateful for the new life you have created for them. I’m pleased to hear that your life is on the up now, and you are living for the hear and now. Thank you for sharing your experience 🙂

You will get there. A large part of it is having a good support network. Someone that actually listens to you. I had too many people giving me opinions and being judgemental.  No one was actually listening to how I felt. I signed up for six, hour long sessions at Listening Ear, and I was allowed to just talk, without being judged. It allowed me to accept what I was saying out loud and rationalise it and deal with it.

Even when you think you’re all alone, there’s always someone on here you can message and feel free to message me if you ever want to rant or just want someone to listen. Sometimes it is easier just to talk to a complete stranger!

    Take care, Ken.

Thank you Ken, that’s really kind of you 🙂 It’s great to have this lovely, supportive community! Thanks for the advice also, I will look Listening Ear up and see if there is anything similar in my area!

Take care also, and maybe speak soon!

I totally get the teacher thing! I am too and find work my safe zone, keeps me busy and sane.
