I experienced this when I first lived seperated.

I looked at exchanging straight away.

Pick up an argos catalogue and list a big dream list. All the things you’d want you’d like. Then budget.

I used to smoke but in the first year of being seperated I stopped.

Any spare cash I had went on painting and decorating stuff, I even wallpapered for the first time.

Being hit up with debts and outstanding creditors was hard but step change were brilliant.

I’ve lived in my place for ten years this year. I’m happy. Its nice enough. I’d love to move to buy etc but who doesn’t.

Its hard at first but its a step.

Good luck in your new home
