About to take my kids to the beach but want to go surfing with them this year. Has anyone else done this and if so, what did you do with your card/phone/keys etc?

    Thanks

You can get a completely waterproof bag, anything from phone sized to a backpack (probably comparatively expensive). Obviously the smaller the better if you’re surfing too. A lanyard for the key (unless it’s a modern car key) and a bit of money tucked into a phone case?

Haven’t taken my baby anywhere yet, but I’ve been diving and been around Europe a bit on my own 🙂

I did surfing lessons in portugal but got driven to the beach so brought nothing. You going somewhere nice?

Don’t know where you’re going but in Cornwall I leave my purse hidden in the car, and just leave all other stuff in a small day pack pretty close to the waters edge. Obviously doesn’t work if tide is moving in fast! Never ever had a problem in 20 years of doing this. Also, you can get strong little tins which are magnetic and you can put your car keys in them and they stick under your car. Have fun surfing!
