Hello all. Bit of a rant and any advice appreciated. Getting to the end of my tether. Ex gave up his job at xmas to stop paying CM. Now he’s moved in with a GF and her son. Sent me a letter last week sating there was no room for the boys and I had to have them full time from the summer hols. I work on a bank contract for the NHS – on the weeks they were with him as I live ruraly and there is no childcare – esp for my shifts.

They are supposed to be with him tomorrow but he’s refusing to give us his new address. Both boys have text and called and no reply. If I don’t work I won’t get WTC – can’t afford this house. I get skipped over for affordable housing (top of list for 4yrs), due to a silly rule.

The helpline isn’t open until Monday. How do I tell my boys their Dad doesn’t want them anymore 🙁

    I’m at my wits end

thanks. Have tried the childcare site. Contacted 67 so far. No one close is Ofsted registered to I can’t claim it back. I’d be paying to work otherwise. Why can’t you claim money back for non Ofsted- hardly fair if there’s just none avail. He’s now saying I have to have them from next week. I’m screwed 🙁

He’s retired and CMS say he doesn’t have to pay me anything – despite having 3 pensions and a decent redundancy package. Can’t touch it apparently.

I already have a bank contract but my only option withiut getting the boys out of bed at 3am, to start at 6 is to work a couple of nights.

It’s the lack of childcare. I’ve put posters up, ads everywhere. Only thing I can get is non Ofsted and it costs more that I earn.
