    Hi guys,

my new partner has 3 kids with his ex.  He has them 3 nights a week.

On average his wage is £1,000 a month. Of this he pays £600 on bills for his house (the basics. Rent/gas/electric/council tax) he also pays his ex £240 a month (more than CSA for fear of her taking her kids off him)

this leaves him with £160 a month (£30-40 a week) to not only pay for transportation, but food for 4 people, clothes, and anything else that he might need.

Yet he’s not entitled to universal credits because he doesn’t receive child benefit (the mother does)

can anyone give me advice to help him? I’m trying to help the best I can, but I’m also tight on money with being a parent to 2 children.

This month his wage was only £900… so it’s even harder

Thanks, I’ll pass that idea on – see it’s its something he can arrange.
