When handing over my daughter she is screaming not to go with her dad. Any advice on what to do? Anyone know is it law that i have to let her go if she is in hysterics?

    Hi,

My daughter is 12 months and always has seen her father. She now has started to cry as she does not want to go. There is a court order in place but i believe it may have to be looked at as contact is not going well recently. I do want her to always know her father but i just feel that the state she gets in is not acceptable. I believe this is a form of child abuse, and i have read that this sort of crying can cause problems with brain development. In my view if it was the other way about i would not want the child going with me as i think the childs right should be taking into consideration. I feel just because she cant speak, her crying should clearly suggest she doesnt want to go and she should not have to.

I feel in todays world the courts and the system is clearly failing in many areas, such as this. I will try your advise of maybe a swing and hopefully this works.

    Thank you
