Try the Couch to 5k app (The 1 supported by the BBC). I was never much of a runner before, but this app was great. I love running now and can’t wait to get out on the road or trails where I live. I’m even considering joining a local club. It’s a great way to pass the evenings when I’m home alone and I’m sure I will make new friends if I join a local club. Look after yourself, it will getter better 👍
Hi I feel your pain my husband left me after 16 years when my daughter was 2 years of age my life as I knew it was blown apart . It took a while but gradually I learnt to have a new life . Unfortunately recently I have had to leave my 2nd husband due to a very abusive marraige so here Iam starting again for the 2nd time it’s scary and you experience every kind of emotion there is but you will survive and you will be ok . Keep busy have fun when you can I know it’s hard and some days you just want to hide away . Take care and keep looking forward not back 😊
I’m my separation has been going on for almost a year , and this week my ex partner is moving out this weekend and I’m in bits . I did his washing today and I cried like a baby 😢. I don’t have much support I have really been struggling emotionally . I feel alone and lost habe approached the gp which wasn’t successful . Feel for me I need a support system xx
Hey Unicorn86. I absolutely feel for you right now. Although every situation is different, it’s totally heartbreaking when it comes to “the move”. Many people on here have said it so many times, but I’ll say it again…it does get easier, but sadly it does take time. As crazy as this sounds, you need to stay positive and keep moving forward. It may seem impossible right now, but you can do it. And don’t be ashamed, embarrassed, or stubborn to ask for help if you need it. Friends, family and professionals are only a stones throw away.
