I really have lost the plot and mealtimes for me are extremely stressful. I have a 3 yr old daughter who is extremely fussy when it comes to food. Ive now got to the point where i just never know what to put in front of her anymore. everything i mke for her just ends up being not eaten and end up having to throw it away. It makes no difference wether im eating the same as her or not. shes just never interested in it. Everyone comments on how healthy she looks and she has enormous amounts of energy all the time that i cant keep up. I have spoken to a nutrition expert bout it and in their opinion she is gaining weight so they arent concerned at all. Its just that from my point of view trying to think of everyday meals is a huge task. Any advice would be appreciated.
I would stick to the same meals. Is it that she does not like to chew ?
My daughter only enjoys food with certain textures like fish pie, cottage and shepherds pie . If we have chicken it’s got to be cut up tiny and hidden in mash and gravy. Just make sure you give her calcium products like petite filous . I dont make a fuss but my one can eat mash every day so try something that is easy to feed her with that has lumpy bits . Get a new place mat and get it out at meal times and use a dinner bell so she know it meal times . This worked for me
