I have spent £15k so far on solicitor fees so I can see my step daughter, however things still get getting anywhere. I think I have come to a point I can not afford to appoint a solicitor any more. I am thinking I need to starting doing things myself after Christmas. Any advice from anyone in a similar situation?

Its so frustrating that nothing is really happening!! Think the solicitor just getting my hopes up and then nothing materialised.

I miss my step daughter so much, and specially around Christmas time.

I don’t really know what I have done to deserve this.

I’m not in a similar situation.

but, I’d like to say, “ I take my hat off to you!!” I know of dads/mums (not step) , that won’t give anything to see their own flesh and blood!
I really do take my hat off to you! And I know it may, not mean much and can sound corny coming from a stranger, but she will realise how much you’ve tried and I doubt you’ll be far from her mind everyday.
Shame on the woman, who stops a man seeing a child he loves so much!
