    Morning all, I’m a newbie,

I have 2 children both girls age 12 and 9, my relationship with their father has broke down and we’ve lived in Cornwall for 2 1/2 years, both children settled in school and are doing well. Father has the eldest daughter living with him but I’m still main career for both of them.
We’re originally from the midlands and school have contacted me this morning regarding her applying for a school place back in the midlands, he’s trying to take her out of school and back up country.
what can I do please? Any advice grateful received. Thank you x

aw gosh without even speaking to you about this? If you can’t communicate about this first then your only other option is to get an court order in place which states he can’t take them.

it’s a lengthy and costly process but that’s the only thing that will put a legal stop to it

If like you are suggesting your eldest is living with her dad . A family court arent going to stop her going to school in midlands as assume they are going to be living in midlands too. What would be more concerning is how 2 girls are doing been separated from each other now. If your daughter was living with you then she wouldnt be able to move schools . It may also come down to what your oldest daughter wants to do as well as where she is 12 now she would get some say in matters as well
