My kids have just come back from a weekend with their dad. They told me that he organised a cycling lesson for our 9 year old with a bloke who was asking for cheese plant cuttings on Facebook. Apparently my ex asked for the cycling lesson in exchange for the cuttings. Presumably this person is some kind of instructor but it all seems very odd. According to the kids my ex drove to meet this bloke in a car park and left my son with him for a lesson while he went off on a bike ride with our eldest.
I appreciate I may not be getting the full story from the kids but the problem is if I ask the ex about it, he’ll either take pleasure in not answering me or will send back a load of abuse.
I don’t think it’s ok to leave a 9 year old alone in sone car park in an area he doesn’t know with some random bloke from Facebook. Am I overreacting?
