This is a bit unusual for a forum post, but we are planning something quite exciting. We will be saying more about in it the next few weeks. To help us prepare, we’d love to know who was baking with the kids during lockdown? What was your favourite thing to bake? Are there any children-friendly cake, biscuit or bread recipes out there?

Thanks in advance, and we’ll let you know what we have planned soon!

    Bread! Simple

    1lb bread flour

    1 packet of dried yeast

    1tsp of sunflower oil

    1pint (approx) tepid water/milk

    mix all together

    kned for 10minutes

let it rise to double its size, with a bag covering it

    make into rolls

preheat the oven to gas mark 5, let rolls rise whilst it’s warming

    bake for 30minutes

presto! You have amazing bread rolls
