Hi. I am new on here and would love dome advice.

I am a single parent yo an 11 year old daughter. I constantly worry about it being intense with just me for company.

I want to go away for a few days and I am thinking of taking a friend for her as worried she will be bored with just me, although I would like it.

There is a friend that could come, only problem, my daughter plays up a bit with this friend, who in my opinion does not have a good impact on my daughter.

Should I just take the friend for my daughter and just try and get on with it?

I constantly worry my company is  ot enough for her on a break away. X

    Hi

I have a 16 year old and felt similar. Can you invite the mom and her daughter? That’s what I did and it worked well. There’s less pressure on you then, and if things get tense then one day you can have mom and daughter time and so can the others.
