    Morning all 🙂

I have 2 children age 8 and 9 they reside with me. There is a Court order in place so that they see their Dad every other weekend.

He has recently put a block on a school change the day before they were due to start a new school (my son needs extra support the school can’t offer) and they resent him for it, in addition he is preventing other medical treatment for my Son…. He is not a nice person and in a control freak- taken me to court numerous times for silly things and is very nasty with a history of domestic abuse.

The kids are refusing to see him and its extremely stressful getting them in the car to meet him etc and do the exchange, to the point they’re running off down the road screaming etc.

I’ve read online I have to force them to go if there’s a court order in place!!!!!! This is mortifying and the fact I could get in trouble for not forcing them to go is shocking!

Has anyone had to do the same because of a court order that is in place?? They are due to visit today and know its going to be a nightmare!!

    Thanks so much xxx

Maybe you should let their dad pick them up from school on a friday and drop them back to school on a Monday as then you wouldnt have all the problems with handovers

If only!!! I’ve offered this for years but he refuses to change his working 9-5 schedule even an hour….also the kids won’t go into school on the Friday if they’re due to go to their Dads on the Friday…its a no win situation :/
